Reports of COVID on Mt Baw Baw false
Baw Baw Shire Council reports:
Despite reports, Gippsland Region Public Health Unit have confirmed that there are no positive COVID-19 cases identified at Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort.
The resort is open under COVIDSafe restrictions.
To manage the current outbreak in Baw Baw Shire, drive through testing at Lardner Park, Warragul will be open tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday from 8am – 3pm. No appointments required but you may need to queue.
To quicken the testing process, you can help by completing a pre-registration form online while you are in the queue: https://testtracker.covid19.dhhs.vic.gov.au/citizen-prefill
It is best not to attend later in the day as gates may have closed earlier to allow vehicles inside the gates to get to the testing area before the published closing time.
